Visualisation

General:
The exercises below serve to acquire the ability of imagination, in this case visualisation.

Performance:

Exercise 1:
Paint a circle on a piece of paper and colour it as desired. Sit comfortably after having positioned the circle at eye level. Look at it fixedly for approx. 10 minutes and then close your eyes. Try to visualise the circle in its colour and size.
Practice at least twice a day until you can visualise the disc for at least two minutes without letting your mind wander.

Exercise 2:
As exercise 1, but visualise the circle with opened eyes, turning away from the “real” disc.

Exercise 3:
As exercise 2, but visualise the disc as an orb in three-dimensional space.

Exercise 4:
Visualise the orb with open eyes, and then change its size and colour as well as its location in the room.
